Our Proposals

Thank you to everyone who left feedback on the proposals during the recent consultation - we will shortly be submitting a planning application to the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC). The site lies in the London Borough of Newham, on the border of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and within the planning authority of the LLDC - as part of the recent consultation, we reached out to both Newham and Tower Hamlets residents who may have an interest in the application. We previously consulted with residents and stakeholders on an application for the redevelopment of the site in Summer 2020. This application (ref: 20/00307/FUL) was approved by the LLDC in 2021. We are now bringing forward proposals for minor amendments to the existing planning permission. We are proposing two nine storey buildings and three 12 storey buildings, along with a 20 storey building (an increase in 6 storeys) neighbouring the Bow Back River, providing 496 homes in total. Our revised proposals retain the key elements of the consented application, including 35% affordable housing; accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists; new green space; and improved ecology and biodiversity in the River Lea. Please see links below to an information pack setting out further information on the proposals, as well as a pack including CGI views of the proposals. If you have any further questions/comments at this stage, please get in touch using the details below.
